Patterson and Hickson

Don't know if this has been posted but on scout.com it says that paterson and hickson are both visiting Florida on the same day 09-09-2006. Do you guys thinks thats good, bad or either.

I think it is interesting since they almost have zero chance of getting them both considering their scholly limits and that they both play the same position. Might be a case of who ever takes it first gets it, though I seriously doubt that will work on Patterson.

So many people seem to think this is impossible. i disagree, florida could very well land both of these guys. think about it; young coach, nice school, just won a title with two bigs playing great together. what's to stop patterson and hickson from trying to be horford and noah part 2???? improbable maybe, but not impossible

I agree with Matt; the chance of it happening is probably higher than some people think.

But it's still a low probability event. I can't help but think that Billy D has something up his sleeve, such as,

"Alright, you guys have seen the campus. I'm only going to take one of you. Whichever one of you commits first gets the scholarship, and I'm revoking the other."

Exactly. It is not that I don't think it is possible to get them both at one school, it is that I don't think UF can. They already have like 5 PF/SF coming in so they can't sell the 3 spot to one of them and neither of them want the 5.

that's a possibility. but, what happens if it's patterson that takes UF's scholly. were already pretty much out of the hickson race.

It wouldn't shock me if Billy D gets both of them. It seems that Billy can pick and choose his recruits at this point. The way UNC was stacked at PF I would never have thought we would lose Brandan Wright to the Heels, but we did.

I'm not worried though. We'll find some diamond in the rough or sleeper recruit that will end up being better than all of them. Besides, ratings don't mean anything. If we can just get a group of team oriented boys that buy into the Tubby's system and bleed blue, we can beat anybody.;)
