i just noticed over the course of time, when he was with CBS, and now with ESPN, he always seems to want to get a jab in at our expense.. i equate him with the Digger Phelps of College Football in regards to his comments about UK football. I have a pretty good rententive memory, and i can remember at least four or five little snide remarks by him, when he was with CBS and now with ESPN.

Not sure you can equate him to Digger Phelps because Holtz could coach. ;):D

I think Kapital Cat has the right idea.....until UK actually wins an meaningful game, they won't get respect...nor do they warrant any

Lou the guru! After seeing UK piss away the first half, that team deserves all the criticism it gets.

What does Lou know? He said Arkansas was going to beat USC. He said you don't lay 70 points on ARk and then go into Fayetteville and win.

There's not many good things any broadcaster could say about Kentucky football. If it's not going to be Lou Holtz, it's going to be somebody else.

I thought the game announcers debating--before the first half was over--whether UL ought to get Brohm out of the gameto make sure he didn't get reinjuredwas more humiliating than anything Holtz said.

Lou might be a little bias on this one since he coached 7 years at Arkansas. ;)

I agree that he takes jabs at us, but let's be real here, until our football program advances beyond being everyone's favorite team to schedule for homecoming we pretty much deserve all the crap we get.
