While I tend to hate that phrase "must-win," I admit that I think you are absolutely right, gerntz.

In regard to the Ole Miss one, I'll share something. Yes, I'm guilty of being a worry-wart (although still basically an optimist, if that makes any sense at all!). Anyway, Ole Miss was a strong defensive team last year, but one that was very weak on offense. Well, when I read that their starting quarterback this season is a former UT starter AND that their starting tailback is former Indiana player Ellis-Green (who had run the ball so well against UK while at Indiana), I became concerned about that game. Since then, I've read that Ellis-Green ran for 128 yards, I believe, against Memphis, a respectable football team. Now that Ihave seenour"greatly improved" defense against the run, I am even more concerned about that game that I had counted among the six needed to get to a bowl win (and someone even predicted Ole Miss to win the SEC WEST, by the way, and they received votes in the preseason AP Top 25 poll).

First things first, though. Let's beat Texas State and perform well doing so, regaining our confidence. Then we simply must beat Ole Miss, too, which we CAN DO, but it's only realistic to add that we must play a whole lot better than we did last night if we want to beat Ole Miss, in particular. ONE GAME AT A TIME, though. We fans must forget that awful loss to Louisville, but it's much more important that the players have forgotten it. GO CATS!!!
