This is the same things that happens to most college guys. A girl disses you so you call her up and she doesn't answer of course and you leave a not so nice message which she goes and tells her friends was threatening. It is typical of most guys that get mad and don't think about what they are doing. Girls too I might add I have had a couple do this and it funny to me I laugh and play them for my friends.

Farley was temporally kicked off for being late to meetings and practice..Guys you can say a lot about Pitino, but never question his tolerance of players with off court problems or attitude. You know better. Now, Tubby may be a great coach, but he is king of 2nd,3rd and 4th chances (if your name isFitch) And what is it at uk with fake ID's and fake badges???And why do I need help..this is a newspaper article, don't kill the messenger dude.

Amen Rick. Hey, remember Tubby's "zero tolerance" policy? LMMFAO!!!! That turned into..."well, maybe a little tolerance"....which then turned to, "ok, never mind just do what ever you want and I'll pretend I didn't see it."

It is really a non issue. He wasn't breaking the law if he had said something really crazy then the cops would have went after him if she wanted to or not.

It wasn't just the phone call that scared the girl. She came home one night and found her rabbit in a pot, boiling on the stove.

TBCF,

what ever helps you sleep at night. Farley was kicked off the team for team rules as to being on time to practice, team meetings and class. Not off campus and night life rules.I think your entire fan base would agree thatFitch would have lasted a week under Pitino. The next time one of our players gets in trouble for being drunk or off court problems and Pitino keeps him, get back to me ...

I have to agree with the fact that Fitch probably should have been gone from the team but weather or no pitino would have done it faster is in question for sure. Pitino only did that Farley last year because he was a bench warmer had that been a starter he would have never kicked him off the team.

Nice smack! Pitino likes to make sure his players go to class. Boy, that sure tears us up.

Explain this one Neanderthal Man, hoe did Morris finish up that spring semester when he was off campus trying out for the NBA? Did they fax him some open book exams?

Maybe the same way all the prop 48s on UL's football team remain eligible throughout their career?

Grinter didn't even qualify at UofL but he is going to play football at uk next year. Sandy Bell could get me eligible and I graduated in 89...

Hey, rickityrick, you know that is not true. Grinter DID qualify, but UL squeezed him out of a scholly. What kid did you take over Grinter? Sweeney????

Grinter will now be playing for the Cats, starting this spring. Did you hear, he will be playing for the Cats!!!!

I know, I know, you have too many players already. Who needs a three star running back from Louisville??

On the other hand, we are thrilled to have him. He will be appreciated at UK.

But, just because you lost him to Brooks does not mean you have to lie about him. I know it must hurt, but it can't hurt that bad.

You better take a look at those recuits Brooksie is bringin in before you get on Ul about academics. I have the feeling you will end up with some serious egg on your face when you start lookin at why UK is the only scholarship offer on a lot of your recruits. It is one of two things: academics or attitude. You figure it out.

I sleep fine at night....I am just reporting what your Coach said on the news about Farley.....said he should move on.....then he is suddenly back on the team..you say Tubby gives kids a second chance well this is proof that Pitino does TOO...

To get serious for a moment, it probably is not attitude, as Brooks has recruited some kids with great attitude, many of them from the city of Louisville.

So, is it academics? Quite a few of the kids that UK has oral commitments from, especially the in-state kids, were also recruited by UL. So, it would seem odd that a UL fan would claim its academics. Fact is that the SEC does not allow UK to take the prop 48s that UL has in the past been able to recruit (not sure about the Big Easy's rule on such things).

I realize that it is easier for a UL fans to look at UK's current recruits and see a list that rivals, if not exceeds, the recruiting class rankings that got UL to the point it currently sits (granted, UL SHOULD have a much better recuiting class this year) and surmise the kids must have some problem. I am okay with you believing that.

Let's take a look at UK's highest rated recruits, their 8 3 star recruits.

Ameer Salahudin- offers by UK,Clemson,Maryland,NC,NC State -this guy looks solid

Moncell Allen-offers by UK,Mississippi,Nebraske,UCLA- another solid looking pedigree

After these two it starts sliding quickly.

Michael Strickland- offers by UK, Bowling Green, Miami (OH), Oregon

Ashton Cobb- offers by UK,Akron,Bowling Green,Cincy,IU

Paul Warford-offers by UK,Northwestern,Western Ky.

The above 3 have offers from other schools, but not an impressive list in my book.

Your last three 3 star recruits

Jo'Dane Craigman- offers by Uk only

Chris Goode- offers by Uk only

LaMarckus Boswell- offers by Uk only

So 6 of your 8 highest rated recruits either have very limited other offers or Uk is their only offer. There must be something a little "tainted" there. Once again, I think you may want to see how many of these guys actually qualify and show up on campus.

Again, look at the recruiting classes that got UL to the point it now sits. Funny how UL fans used to argue vehemently against guru rankings, but now its all important.

Morris didn't announce his intentions or try out until May when he returned home for the summer break.
