Where:
The Orange lot. Turn in the lot off of University Drive and we will be to the right up against the pavement of the Red lot(old RV lot). Look for the WCN flag flying above our other two flags. MAP BELOW!!!
When:
Saturday Sep 9th, we plan on setting up about 11:00am ET. So just drop by whenever you want and we will be there.
Food:
Going with kabobs, grilled chicken, grilled veggies, rice dishes, desserts. If you want to bring something post here or PM me. We know its a pain to carry this stuff from other parking areas, so if you would rather donate we will have a Wildcat DoNation jar set out to help cover food costs only. We will have soft drinks, if you prefer the stronger stuff BYOB (the last B could be beer or bourbon;))
C'mon down and cheer on the Cats and meet some of the good people of WCN.

Look for these flags near the entrance of the Orange lot.........
EDIT... WCN flag will be at the top instead of the one shown.

Rick. What time do you plan on having food ready? It will help me with my plans.

I'm there, maybe with a guest. What will I bring??? Chips and salsa, buns, fried chicken, dessert? You tell me. Except for the last, I have the rest of the stuff from Sunday. Don't worry. I froze the chicken. I will also be bringing potato salad.

I'll see if I can head up early enough to meet some people as I have yet to meet a single WCNer. I have to leave Bardstown around 2ish to get to Louisville to pick up my girlfriend from her work at 3 to head to Lexington. If traffic isn't too rough, I may have enough time to swing by and meet a few folks. If I don't make it out, I'll be there at some point in time the year to meet you guys.

We'll have snacks out all day, butI expect us to have the kabobs on the grill and ready to go by around 2:00 or so.
I'll be there with my Brother. Let me know what is needed that I can carry form near the parking garage.

As of now, the plan is for me to stop by for a while, too. Being an out-of-towner, it will be good to see everyone again.

Rick, I'm planning on trying a new cookie recipe (but will bake a couple of pecan pies for the Ole Miss tailgate, of course! :)). Also, we'll bring some soft drinks.
How about those odds, Rick! I saw the Nashville number on theCall-Wave I.D.and went to tell Mike, because I thought it was one of his Nashville customers. I came back, thinking that he was talking to a customer. Instead, he was talking to you about what to bring to the tailgate the same exact time I was posting here and saying what we would bring! :)Oh, Mike is bringing some deer sausage--like you didn't already know that!

I bought spinach dip, cheddar and bacon spread, marinated mozzarella w/olives, bourbon chicken and grilled veggies(squash and red peppers) today.
Pharmcat and wife Julie will be there for their 1st WCN tailgate.:thumbup
Cathy will have fried chicken, wings, potato salad and chips and salsa.
Should be a great turnout for the home opener!!

When he came up and said that it was you that he had been talking with, I also thought that I would have enjoyed talking UK football with you. Well, I guess it will have to wait until Saturday. :)
Also, I said toMike again this morning how UNREAL the timing was last evening. I had not even seen the tailgate threaduntil that moment, and I had been looking for it (although I had really been looking at the regular threads and not at the top).As I was in the middle ofsaying what I would bring to the tailgateandhecame up and said thatthe Nashville caller had been you, talking about what to bring to the tailgate, it was aCRAZY feeling (of course,I have somehow been known to have a lot of those!). :DAgain, see you Saturday! :)

Me and my youngest son will be there for our first WCN tailgate. We plan on parking off Nicholasville Road hopefully near the Orange Lot. I am not sure if we will bring something or be traveling light, if not then we will definitely donate.

I got to the stadium around 4:45 but didn't see any tent set up with a Wildcat Nation Banner. I'm glad I got over in the stadium shortly after, that storm came out of no where. Did you'all get washed away ? :D

Nope. Some of us took cover during the brief storm, but we were still there. We had a great turn out.It was great to see some new faces as well as those we have come to know. Lookfor the three flags with the WCN flag at the top. We will be at approximately the same spotSaturday for the Ole Miss Game.

Where are the pictures? I wasn't at the game, and I won't be in any of the pics, so I am eager to see them. Whereis the incriminating evidence.

I didn't get to talk to some people as much as I wanted to either. Sorry Andy. Mitchell is really in to football now.
