If this has already been discussed, I apologize, but I thought it best to avoid the board for a couple of days. ;)
Anyway for all the bad we saw, I was fired up to see MJ meet the UL back (not Bush) at the one and not only stop him cold but push him back the other way. He was the first and only defender to touch the RB. Makes me think he'll be finding a starting spot sooner than later. He made a believer out of me.

He also showed his strength when he pulled the RB down with one hand attached to his jersey.

Micah needs to be on the field somewhere.
I heard Archer say before the season started that he wanted to bring Micah in slowly to learn the defense and not be confused.
Well, Sunday night guys with a lot more experiene than him didn't have a clue what was going on. How could it get any worse?
At the least we'd have his tremendous athleticism on the field.

Micah had a mixed performance which is what you would expect from a freshman. There were several plays where he was blown fifteen yards beyond the line of scrimage by UL's center. There were other plays where he just looked confused and slow to react. He did make some good plays too.

Micah will start Saturday over Kelly per Brooks at his weekly press conference.
Peters will also see more significant minutes.

I think Archer is the one that is confused.
