Can anyone tell me when he was taken out of the game?
I told my buddy that I was watching the game with prior to the start that Lane needed to be replaced if he gave up one sack!
I think the pass blocking was a little better after on the drives where I didn't see him in the huddle. I might be wrong in this.

per the just-concluded RB show, Lane and Alexander will not start against Tex St. Christian Johnson and Garry Williams will take their spots and start on the left side, w/Turituri and Aitcheson moving to the right side.
As poorly as the O-line played against the Cards, whupped in every sense of the word, a major shake-uip is certainly dictated. This new lineup may not be better, but it will get the players attention right away.
And Brooks did say that there's the possibility that these guys who are losing starting positions can win them back with improved play. I'm not sure where most of the fault lies regarding the staff, but I've not seen in all these down years a game in which both our O-line and D-line played so poorly. Changes had to happen.
But our season surely lies in the next two games. We must win them both to stay alive. I believe we will.

FROM ANOTHER POST I MADE--
Rich Brooks --
On position and changes to the starting lineup...[/i]
“The offensive line will get the major overhaul with Michael Aitcheson starting at right tackle, Fatu Turituri at right guard, Christian Johnson at left guard and Garry Williams at left tackle. Roger Williams had a death in the family and did not practice today. It is very possible that Ashton Cobb could start at strong safety on Saturday. There also will be some shake-up in the defensive end position to be determined at later date.”
On Micah Johnson ...
“Micah did some good things and that is another change we’re making to the lineup. He will start in Braxton Kelley’s place on Saturday. Micah did some good things, but Braxton didn’t play as well as we think he can play. Micah is still a freshman, he still isn’t doing everything right, but he did some very good things in the game.” (I THOUGHT THIS WOULD HAPPEN AFTER THE LAST GAME)
