Cardinals Coming On With Barnes

Richland Northeast WR Mark Barnes (6-3 195) has always had Louisville high upon his list with USC. Tuesday night Barnes said the Cardinals are making a strong push to be his favorite. "After they won against Kentucky, their head coach called and asked for his son, referring to me," Barnes said. "It's the things that they send me and the things that they do" (that impress Barnes). Barnes said he will be at the USC-Georgia game Saturday and he talked Tuesday with Gamecock recruiters David Reaves and Steve Spurrier Jr. "We just talked about how we're going to get together at the game," Barnes said. Barnes said he's not decided on official visits and is not sure what other games he will go to this season.
