When that happens, does a red X ever appear? Maybe you need Java installed since that is what the chat software requires to run. If you have Java installed, you may need to verify that browser is able to initialize the application correctly. You can test this by going to the following URL to do the test.

I will let one of the admins know about your issue as it seems that the Java app is working and more of a verification issue. Did you try logging out of the WCN website completely (forums) and re-login? We have had some members get the Water Cooler to work this way.

The "Logout" button is below the menu buttons at the top (directly under WCN Shop).

Also, make sure you are using the full address of the website:

http://www.wildcatnation.net and not the version without the www

Also, you may want to make sure your caps lock is not on... the password is case sensitive and is the same password you use with this board.

The blank screen issue is almost certainly a java issue with your computer.
