That's some pretty strong company for Prince. Congrats!

As an all-around player, Prince is much better than #7. He should have been onteam USA, imo, because of his tremendous versatility and ability to defend tall jump shooters, which always kill us in international play.Ferret face thought Shane Battier and Atawn Jamison werebetter choices, though, and we know how that went...

I'm certainly not defending Coach Krzyzewski, but I believe Tayshaun declined the invitation to be considered for the team. I read that somewhere...I'm searching for a link.

Found it... http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2349009

May be the best defensive 3 in the league....

T Mac should be down a few pegs, Carmelo should be down a LOT of pegs, and Tay and AK should be higher.

Tayshaun at #7 is pretty good. Personally I'd put Odom ahead of him (I am a Lakers fan after all), and I'd rather have either of them than Tracy McGrady.

I'd also put Shawn Marion #2 on this list. There is nothing that he doesn't do well.

ya...

i dont think he turned it down cuz he didnt wanna play or anything...but realizing carmello and james would be playing it wouldnt seem likely he would make the team.

I agree with the comments here but as much as I HATE Duke basketball, Battier should remain on the team. He made open shots and hustled, in essence, hisrole was fufilled.I do think that Jamison, Miller, Johnson, possibly Chris Paul (very shaky and pushed around by bigger guards)need to go. The challenge is finding a way to put Prince, Josh Howard, Kobe, Redd, Marion, and possibly Stoudamire on the team (as well as find more composed point guard play).
