Offers: Danny Dembry (NC), Matt Lentz (SC)
Two quarterbacks have been offered, North Carolina’s Danny Dembry and South Carolina’s Matt Lentz. According to Dembry, Kentucky has not made it clear whether or not he’s a quarterback target, but have indicated to him that they would like him to come in as an athlete. Odds are the chips are all in one basket - the 6-foot-3, 205 pounder from Columbia (SC) - whom the staff feels is one of the best ‘projected’ quarterback prospects in the country. With Kentucky having two quarterbacks already on the radar in Hartline and Fidler, adding a guy like Lentz would be huge. I’m hearing that could happen as soon as the end of the month.
Importance Meter: 2. Always important to get a quarterback. Ask Guy Morris.
