Did it ever occur to you that if SouthFlorida wins out they get the BCS Bid and West Virginia heads to the Gator.

So I wouldnt call it a lock.

It is more resonable to say you will be playing in the Pep Boys tire/wheel alignment bowl

Of course, if USF does win-out and go to the BCS...

www.bigeast.org/sports/m-...ineup.html (http://www.bigeast.org/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/bcs-bowl-lineup.html)
"...The Toyota Gator Bowl, played in Jacksonville, Fla., will select a team from the BIG EAST after the Bowl Championship Series accepts the conference champion...All four bowl games will choose from among the group of BIG EAST bowl-eligible teams. Finish in the conference standings does not determine bowl selection...Any selection of a team with fewer victories must be within one win of all other bowl eligible teams. League squads must be within one conference victory."

I think the Gator would select an exciting 9-2 UL team over a boring 9-2 WVA team coming off a loss to USF and who should've lost in Morgantown to UL, don't you? This was posted from 1 of the great posters at ITV. Maybe you Cat fans can read this and understand its meaning.Bold print says it all!!!!!!!!!

Wrong O! You Kitties sure do not know much about how bowl invitations work. Of course, with your history that is understandable.

IF USF wins out, they get the automatic BCS berth. The Gator Bowl would then have the right to choose between UL and WV. Since WV has been to the Gator Bowl three years in a row, the Gator Bowl people REALLY would like somebody different this time. WV would probably be going to the Tire bowl.

The best shot of knocking UL out of the Gator Bowl is to have somebody knock off Notre Dame. With Notre Dame's remaining schedule that simply isn't very likely. It is possible, just unlikeley.

In theory, you could have USF in the BCS if they win out. Notre Dame in the Gator if they lose. WV would then probably end up in the Tire Bowl. Ul would then be in the Insight Bowl I think. If any of you think this is likely to occur I would be happy to give you 2-1 odds for your money.

You guys just don't give up do you?!? Bottom line, if we win out, the Gator Bowl will want us. They made it blatantly obvious at the Louisville/Pitt game. They don't want WVU for the 4th year in a row. Give it a rest.

why would they take the third place team who got beat by the second place team. Why would they want someone who got beat by South Florida by 31.

You better pray USF doesnt make BCS, if they do, talks of taking your bid away will soon begin thereafter

You may be accustomed to praying during the season but we are not. We will finish in second is why. Why would they take an unranked directional school that gets no respect even after they keep winning. People want to see offense...which is what we have. Hell, we don't even have to play and we move up in the polls. That is what you get when you have the media power that we do.

Man cardboard boy, where have you been? You need to come around more often. I understand though, I would hide as well.
