Yes we all saw the 4 point game with 8 minutes to go. Good thing Lipsbrush started jacking up shots in the end so suk could pad the score in the last 2 minutes. Yeah, this is a Final Four team if I have ever seen one. You all need just as much work as anybody in the country. Had you been playing a real team, it would have been a massacre. Last I heard you were being out rebounded by 8 to a team that played nobody over 6'8". At least we have an excuse. We played 4 freshmen on the floor. What is your's?

We don't have a legit center right now, for one thing.
Lipscomb is no match for the mighty Bellarmine, though. I know, I know. 4 freshmen.

noknee, i greatly enjoy reading your posts. you are probably the main reason i come to this board every day. but you need to pick and choose your spots. trash talk is much more effective when there is some merit to it.

It is funny that you started a thread about a close to twenty point win. Ok Tubby left the starters in. So what your football team left its starters in until the mid way point of the third quarter when you were up but like 50 points. So what is your point? That we beat another D! team by more than 15 UL only beat BELLARMINE by 7 points so until your team plays again you should not bew posting any basketball smack.

Please elaborate. Are you proud of this game? You were out rebounded by a team no taller than 6'8". It was Lipscomb for crying out loud!!! Like I said before, at least we have an excuse.

When ESPN titles thearticle "Kentucky holds off Lipscomb"...sorry, but it's funny. You all sucked *** last night and you know it. We ran one single offensive set the entire night against Bellermine, with 4 freshmen that have never seen an atmosphere like Freedom Hall, without our center or power forward, against a coach that knows Pitino's every move like the back of his hand. If you are going to talk smack about that, then expect the same when you play like crap.....with absolutely no reason to.

He has a point, I couldn't sleep until I turned on that game. You guys can't feel good about it. Even Rondo looked bad. But what has happened to ol' Sparkie? Don't know his stats but his shot is not what it once was(at least one game) he had several turnovers and couldn't guard a parked bus.Your3 headed monster project is a waste of space, shaq, woo andwhat's his name should not have schollys. I will cut the Carter kid some slack cause I think he will at least help out by his JR year. I know it's early and our team didn't look good in ourgame but this final four talk is a joke for both teams. This could be a long season for both teams. The only difference is you all play in a football conference and we don't.. uk can suck and get by with it, even get a one seed and lose to a lower seed again and again and again .......

Tubby doesn't even know who his starters will be. But the fact is the same players played the last 13 minutes of the game. Those guys very well may be starters. Rondo played 33 minutes. Pad the score against Lipscombs. Thank gawd you weren't playing Iowa. You would have been steamrolled. Tell you what, bring that same game when you do play them. Automatic L.

I can talk smack about UL only winning a game by 7 over a bottom of the barrel NAIA school because that is ridiculous. UL should have beaten them by 30 at least. But how on earth can you talk smack about a close to 20 point win. I guess you need to scrap that barrel right now.
We might have played like crap but we still won by double digits over a D1 school that would kill Bellarmine.
There you go with the excuses again. We didn't have our center the other coach knows too much about our coach, we had freshman on the court. Those are all excuses. UL should have killed them with their second team. You just can not admit to yourself that UL is just not that good this year and now you are grasping at straws.
UK played like **** against a crappy team. They played sluggish. They played selfish at times, they didn't rebound, they didn't shoot that great but guess what we STILL won by double digits over a D1 team not NAIA or D2 they were D1. BEAT IT!

Nope. Ranked above you. You need to give it up until you pass us in the polls. You have won 2 games and are still looking up to us. How's the view down there? See the respect we get? It comes with the territory of playing in the "best basketball conference EVER assembled in the history of college basketball"....not a Sub Pac-10 conference that flames out every season and hasn't sent a team to the Final Four since the turn of the century.

When UK beat UL in Freedom Hall last year, did you predict that UL would get an easy path to the Final Four (read not have to play Butler or Xavier) and actually make it to the Final Four?

how exactly does 19 pts (7-10 shooting) look bad.i'm not going to look @ the boxscore but he did have a few rebounds, assists, and steals. how is that bad????
andas far as sparks goes. he is simply not forcing any shots. every time he touches the ball he was doubledthis past two games. so, rather than force anything he passed. smart play if you ask me.

No. The fact is that UL's non-conference schedule will give no one an opportunity to learn how good UL is until they play UK. Keep at it, you will understand.
As to rankings, LSU and USC are not yet ranked, but both are likely to be will be ranked by the time conference play begins. Vandy could also break into the top 25 this year.
