Prayers are already going up. :(The Duquesne, official said thatthey are not even thinking about the ramifications for the basketball program, but only about the health of the young men, and rightly so. Unreal. :(

This truly is horrible. I feel for their families and hope each make a full recovery.

Truly sickening. Only a coward shoots into a group of people and flees. Weapons are a poor substitute for courage for too many of our youth.

I cannot imagine the fear the young men must have felt. I did however hear that Ramel Bradley played high school ball in New York with Kojo Mensah and is taking this extremely hard. I continue to pray for the victims, the families, as well as pray nothing like this happens agian...

I just checked ESPN and Sam Ashadu is in critical condition and "fighting for his life"...two other players are still hospitalized but it did not sound like their lives are in danger...Big Blue Energy going out to the whole program.

Arrests have been made. Even though the papers initially reported it as a random shooting, I never felt it was.

Also, if you were the doorman, wouldn't you have been suspicious? :?

She went ahead of the group and asked the doorman whether those attending were being checked for weapons, and was told they would not be.
