This story has really, really gotten to me. :cry::cry: Just aquestion/thought trying to make sense of a senseless action. I haven't heard of anyone other than the basketball players being shot. So,whyare they sosure the basketball players weren't the target? :shrug:

Judging from this article I'd say the players were definitely the targets...the targets of someone's jealousy. Very sad story...just goes to show how much more dangerous things are for youth today...that sort of thing used to be settled by a fist fight with the "loser" ending up with a black eye and bruised ego...now it's the spark for a gun fight instead.

Yeah, and at least when & where I grew up, the two parties would forget about it in a couple of days and probably be friends again.Not near as much resentment, grudges abd buried anger back in the day. We live in a very angry world today.:(
