Wonder how much that helps us...

Why would you be doing drugs if you were a star defensive lineman anyway? I sure as hell would stay as far away from anything like that for the simple reason of trying to stay at the top of my game, of course, peer pressure never really phased me as I didn't and still don't care what others think about me. I realize that isn't the norm in today's society, just my personal views that you have to live life without worrying all the time if someone is going to like you or not. it seems to me that so much talent is sometimes wasted on individuals that don't truly harness it. I wish him luck and hopefully he learned his lesson and won't let this happen again. Either way, Florida is still going to be one mammath to take on. Rushing still should be insanely difficult as I'm sure they have a more than worthy backup filling in his spot.

Doesn't matter. They'll plug someone new in with no experience that will wind up being an all-american this season. Don't mean to be pessimistic, but history tells me that everytime the team UK is playing in a given week has a player injured or suspended seemingly in UK's favor it winds up backfiring and the replacement winds up being a beast.

If he and his Mom are appealing the suspension as the article says, then I would expect him to play pending the outcome of the appeal, which would mean he will most likely be on the field Saturday.

Five games??? Wonder what it would be if he played for UK!

His mother should get her head out of her *** and get the kid straighten out instead of appealing.

Testing positive twice in 2 months, give me a break.

I agree, mom needs to be suspended too. The kid is lucky it is only 5 games.

KInda makes you wonder what Floridas Policy is for drug use, apparantly the first time got him a "Stop or I'll say Stop again" response. If he had been at UK he likely would have been kicked out of school.

I think they are down a couple of recievers also. I read the other day one has a really high ankle sprain and probably would not play. There was another player, I think it was a reciever but could be a tailback that also had an ankle sprain but not as bad as the other one. I'll see if I can find the article and post the link.

edit: ok it was only one reciever but here is the link I found it is not the one I originally read, but i still remember someone else having an ankle sprain too.

Their star frosh receiver, one of the most coveted recruits in the country last year, is questionable.

Did this DT play in Knoxville last week? If his second positive test was in August, why has he played in any game this year? Even under the Gator's toothless policy, I am not sure why he has been permitted to play.
