I realize many of you are not interested in the CU vs Georgia game on Saturday but I will be rooting hard for the Georgia Dawgs while I'm driving the Skip in Boulder. While reading the CU Daily today I found out they are transporting "Ralphie" the buffalo to the game in Athens. :rolleyes:Believe me, they will need more than Ralphie to win this one! GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm looking forward to another quiet weekend in my 'hood.

:cool:Hey, hey Ralphie girl...I just returned from an SEC alumni happy hour(s) in Denver with ColoradoWildcat...we drank with some Georgia alums and had a mini pep rally to show Colorado just what college football is all about...I am having a party at 10:30AM Mountain Daylight Time to watch the game...Colorado and I may be the only one's in attendance but we will have a hell of a time...GO DOGS

and Colorado please leave that bison alone...I doubt he wants a road trip.

I'll take UGA VII any day over Ralphie, Smokey, Bevo or any other mascot. As a UGA grad (MBA), I'll be heading to Athens on Saturday. Good luck to Cats and Dawgs.

I'm starting to feel bad for Colorado, they'll more than likely be 0-4 starting out. But I guess they deserve it with losses to Montana St. (IIRC), Colorado St., and Arizona St. Some of those are just pitiful.

I would be at the party if I didn't have to work. :XI'm expecting some score updates via my cell. ;)I'd also like to know what happens in the dual between Ralphie and UGA!

While I feel sorry for their new coach I have no sympathy for the program or their fans...IMHO the program has been dirty for many moons...can you imagine a Lexington woman (madam, in this case) going public with the fact she provided hookers for UK football recruits and the NCAA NOT coming to town...that's exactly what happened here in Colorado yet no NCAA...also, the way they "handled" the alleged rapes was shameful...inspite of all of this the only reason Gary Barnett is gone is because of losing football games...I hope they go 0-12 and only wish it was going to be Barnett running between the hedges on Saturday.

Now, Terry, you're not being very politically correct, are you?

Those aren't "hookers", they're the "spirit squad".

(They'd certainly lift my spirits ... ) ;)

The Univ of Colorado is full of wrongdoing and its not just in the Athletic Dept.. You can bet Hawkins won't last long if the Buffs continue to lose. Btw, the QB, Cox, most likely will not travel to Athens due to his fathers illness in California.

Good point about what would have happened if those "gals" :ggrin:had been provided for UK football recruits, Terry. Also, I agree in relation to how the "alleged rapes" were handled. :(I, too, have no sympathy for the Colorado football program, and I am normally a very sympathetic person. My sympathies, instead, tend to go to those young women, if they were indeed raped (and that's how it surely seems to have been, based on what I have read), besides to schools whose football programs are not so similarly protected from the NCAA. Again, good point.

Early on in the game Colorado is driving at will on Georgia. The big freshman tight end for Colorado is a nice target.

10-0 CU at half. This is the same team that lost to a I-AA school. Teams, especially young ones, get better as the season goes by.
