First of all... here's the link:

Now, is there an NCAA rule that does not allow a college eligible athlete to participate in college sports (either as walk-on or through a scholarship) after being found guilty of a felony offense? Here's Pierre Pierce -- Big-10's 3rd leading scorer -- completing 11 months of what could have been 2 yrs of hard time. He's obviously categorized now as having been convicted of a felony. Is there a rule that keeps him out of college/college level sports?
Don't know the rules and was just wondering if the NCAA or the respective schools offer leniency to felons who have paid his/her "dues". Is what he was convicted of right (assault and terrorizing)? No, without question. Has he learned a lesson and/or fulfilled his sentence? Yes to the latter. Who knows the former.
GO CATS !!!
