They did not quit even though they were outmanned. I hope the CATS get over this and are ready for Central Michigan. Next week will tell us a lot about this team.

What's that mean? They played the whole game tonight.

It's hard to be angry about anything except for the stupid penalties.

Same story as ever. The game was lost in the trenches.

What happened to the o line 2nd half ??? swiss cheese all the way and it was hard to watch. 2 turnovers completely wasted.....but congrats to the team for making it somewhat respectable in the face of some bad first half officiating. Hurts though.....and to face my friends here now, it's tough after 20 in a row. here's hoping hoops can derail this train.

What's that mean? They played the whole game tonight.I agree. Florida simply showed up in the 2nd half making some adjustments and getting a spark from Tebow. But KY still hung there not to let the game blow up. The offense could never get it going in the 2nd half.

I like the direction UK is going. Florida upped the pressure in the second half and Woodson had zero time to make anything happen. People seem to be down on Archer(I am not sying I'm a big fan of his), but UK's d was not too shabby. I just wish they would blitz more.

Poor Andre... He's done a great job tonight and all year so far, but there's no telling what he could do with some protection.

I just hate when we give hustle awards in a game that we get out scored by 20.

They were out-manned in the first half, just like they were in the second half. Except, from the last play of the first half to the end of the game,it showed. The O-line looked porous in the second half. I am sure they were trying to hustle, but . . . they need to apologize in a big way to Andre. There were pass rushers that were not even touched. Not just a few times, but repeatedly Florida rushers were getting to Andre with not much of a fight from the offensive line. I guess itwas hustle. It also must have been extreme confusion.

And, there were a bunch of missed tackles in the second half on defense. I guess it could have been fatigue, but UK's offense did a good job controlling the clock in the first half keeping the defense off the field.

It's not just that the offensive line played horribly in the second half. Not having Little back there, and then having Dixon get hurt, meant that the the Gator D-linemen and blitzing linebackers could just pin their ears back and go after Andre'.

But they played hard the whole game and made a respectable showing. Let's build on this and beat the Chippewas next week.

Some of them are just...gulp...not very good, I fear. I fully understand what you are saying and it is frustrating to see linemen just rush right past your guy and hit the QB, time and time again. We need much more talent there....much more.

As for the defense and poor tackling....er...never mind. Let's just concentrate on the good plays they made and they made several. We just don't have the horses to stay with the big boys right now. A couple of staff changes wouldn't hurt my feelings, but I digress. We need bigger, better players and we are getting them. With more seasoning, they will improve(hopefully). Lots of youngsters.

RECRUITING, RECRUITING, RECRUITING. More years of good signees like last year is the first step.

I remember Claiborne's defenses. They would give up some yards, but would get the stops and would HIT HIT AND HIT. Other teams used to comment about how hard UK hit. Seeing guys fly by a ball carrier trying to tackle with an arm . . . well . . .

McClinton had a couple of good hits. Woodyard was getting the attention of some big guys and played relatively well.

I have seen some big hits by Ashton Cobb on special teams. I look forward to seeing him develop as a defender.

One item I noticed, when we were beat our players were able to track down the Florida player. Our speed has improved. I would like to see time of possession in the first half compared to the second half. I believe that is what helped out our Defense majority of the first half.

We had our chances. We were driving one the first possession of the second half, but hit a brick wall. If we scored there, it is a different game. Florida adjusted and outmanned us in the second half. Our backs were going straight into their pattern and not holding back to block. One two occasions the running back ran past a defender who had beat the O-line.

That was one thing I did not understand. I have only watched one of Florida games (against UT) and I knew that Tebow was gonna run everytime he touched the ball when he was in. You think the coaching staff would have known this, but they guy comes in on Floridas biggest drive and runs 3 times for 60 yards. Did we honestly think he was gonna come in and start throwing?
