Lydia Watkins who just signed with UK women team to play basketball next season is out for year wont played her Sr Year cause of a Back Injury Tough Break for this Girl. Great Person and one heck of a b-ball player.

I believe that Coach DeMoss said on the pre-game show yesterday that she had injured her back in Florida before she moved to Kentucky and had had back surgery. In her most recent checkup they found that one (may have been more) of the screws that the surgeon had inserted had broken. I believe that Mickie said that she will have to have it (them) replaced and thus will not play her senior year. Should be ready easily by next season, although a bit rusty.

i talk to her not to long ago and she is working on returning before the end of her sr Year so maybe we could see another State run for Christian County.
