Yet another prediction from Suk fans has been shattered. Looks like the Big East will not lose it's BCS bid anytime soon. The only requirement is that at least one team from each conference finish the regular season in the BCS top 12. Last season, Louisville finished 10th. WVU is currently 13th with two games left. Louisville is close behind at 18th with two games left. Too bad for you. How ironic, as much crap as you guys talked about your oh so big and bad football conference, by season's end it could be looking UP to the Big East. You have Tennessee to thank for that. Please keep the predictions coming! OTFFLMMFAO!!!!
Here's another 2 for 1 thread for you. In other news yet another $EC team was placed on three years probation. Can you imagine??? This weeks violator was South Carolina. What a freakin joke.

Sorry, but if you think U of L, WVU, or Pitt could beat LSU, Alabama, Georgia, or Auburn, then you're a bigger idiot than you make yourself out to be (notice I said 'make yourself out to be').

I would take Ul against any of those teams on a neutral field. Heck, we would only have to score 20 points to insure a victory.
SEC must stand for:
SCORING
EASILY
CHALLENGED

Hey Einstein, these conference rankings include the SOS in the calculating. It's not like it's some moron behind a computer saying that no team from the Big East could beatthis or thatteam from the $EC. BTW, the ONLY team I MIGHT give you in that list is Georgia. Everybody else would have their *** handed to them on a platter at our house. Beat it. We heard that BS the last time we played big bad Alabama.:rolleyes:yawn

LMAO. I would kill to see U of L go against Auburn or LSU or a team with a real defense. Sorry, but without Miami and Va. Tech, the big east is nowhere near the status of the other conferences (sans MAYBE the Pac-10).
Keep dreaming.

You really don't get it do you? The $EC is rated just above the Big East. Now read this very slowly....these...ratings...are...not...an....opin ion. Everything...is....taken....into....consideration. This... includes...the...ranking...of...the...opponent.... and...SOS....of ...these...teams.
The $EC was over rated. We would maul Auburn or just about any team in your generic conference,

I ordinarily think that you have good posts and opinions, but I really don't think you could take any of the top teams (UF, Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Bama) in the SEC! Your defense isn't tough enough and most of these teams have great defense. Also the SEC IS the best football conference in the country, even though none will go to a championship. It's overall the most well rounded and powerful conference in the country and the Big East really can't compare.

Actually I would say that the SEC's big problem this year is that they are too top heavy. You have GA, LSU, AL, and Auburn but after that you have UK, Vandy (which is better), Tenn (which lets face it sucks this year), Ole Miss, Miss St., and So. Carolina which are all very bad this year with Florida being the team in the middle between good and bad. Outside of the top teams that I mentioned SEC is not very good. But, that being said I would take almost any of the SEC's top teams against UL any day of the week anywhere.
The thing that the big east has going for it is that all of the teams in it are at least ok they might not have any great teams this year (outside of maybe UL on one of their good days) but they have a few teams that can go out and get wins on a regular basis.
UL's major problem is they have no real leadership. So when they get down or things start going badly they can't look to that one team leaderto kick them in the A$$ or get them pumped up. Brohm is just not that guy right now they lost their emotional leader when LaFlor's left. UK has a similar problem but they dont have the talent to overcome it like UL does in most cases.

TBCF,
We were talking about football. That is a game played on a fiel with an oblong ball. Florida won a basketball game. That is a game played with a round ball on a court. Understand the difference?
Florida did look good. In fact, I would have to say for the first time ever, Florida is underranked.

Anyone see that a very young UF team beat a ranked WF and knocked off the great Syracuse, Big East team ranked in the preseason polls?

If they mention it at all, they'll either call it a fluke or figure a way to slam UK to change the subject.

BB75,
Did I not just post that for the first time ever Florida is underrated? This was a football thread. I understand why you all feel the need to convert it into a basketball thread. In fact, I think it is quite funny you all feel like you have to change the subject.

Nice that you speak of predictions. Wasn't UL predicted by the fans and local media to win the Big East and head to a BCS bowl. And if you listened to the UL fan behind me at the UK game, he was predicting a game against USC in the Rose Bowl. T+Yet another shallow attempt by NoKnee to talk smack. Man, you need to step up your game
