UK Cool Cats sweep Duke

The Cool Catsbedeviled Duke 7-2 on Friday and then spanked them 6-1 Saturday night. I'll post the articles as soon as they come available.

The University of Kentucky headed into this weekend with a couple much needed victories. The Cool Cats provided. Kentucky took on arch-rival Duke University and the Cool Cats didn't disappoint the fans. Knocking off Duke 7-2 Friday and 6-1 on Saturday. Both nights were action packed, from the hits to the goals, it was all there. Some of the hits including a Duke player getting flipped head over heels crashing into the boards. Goal wise, John North provided on both the goals and assists both nights. North is credited with 5 points on friday night (2 goals 3 assists) and providing some more on saturday night. Aaron Leichty provided for the Cool Cats on Saturday as he netted the games opening goal and a goal later on in the evening to put the icing on the cake. In an interview with Aaron he mentioned that now is do or die time. Kentucky got a couple of big wins over a higher ranked squad and Kentucky will head into a Thanksgiving tournament in Ohio taking on #15 seeded Kent State(d1). If the Cool Cats win they'll take on the winner of Lehigh and Bowling Green. (if they lose they take on the losers of the other game) Kentucky has a huge opportunity to impress some of the critics this weekend.
