What began as a joke and then turned into a vow will become reality and a slice of history tomorrow night at Louisville's Manual Stadium.
That's when senior Sarah Albertson will suit up as the starting extra-point place-kicker for New Albany, one of the largest high schools in Indiana with 2,000-plus students.
"She's the first female kicker in the history of New Albany High School and the first I've had," said coach Kevin Roth, who was impressed with Albertson the first time he saw her kick and remains that way.
