Yes ...Lil Ricky has been invited back to the seen of his greatest triumphs on Sept. 9th to be inducted into the UK Athletics Hall of Fame..I would like to be the Chef that night.Emeril Lagasse would have nuttin on me..

A little stewed redpigeon with Lil Brudder sauce..a large order of humble pie and top it off with some hemlock..Ahh the nasty remarks that could be made that nite..but UK folks have too much class and they will be sickenly sweet to their former employee.

I'm sure Lil Ricky misses a big time program and to have to realize that he had it all and now resides at Lil Brudder ..well It will probably be a tear jearker for him. Also for all the ladies in Lexington he had to leave to go to Boston and the barber who did his first hair weave...

Oh Lil Ricky says all the right things when prompted ..but he's bitter about his treatment Hey..maybe some Sweet and Sour Shrimp would be appropriate..Meiners had better start pressing his tux and polishing the Gucci loafers..Does Armani make sack cloth..Dunno..

Welcome Back Ratino that 75 miles to Camelot must seem like a million today..Bon Appetit...P.S. We took the steak knives off the table..Too much tempatation for the REAL UK greats.. Maybe fora little after dinner entertainment..Cisco Garcia can reprise his Loser's Macarena Dance from last season when the birds came from 16 ahead to lose...Bamm!

No, I wouldn't want him in the UK Hall of Fame even if he was as dead as Adolph Rupp. He is one ex- UK coach I prefer to forget and having his name forever embedded in everything UK is not appealing to me.

When Fla Cracker takes the attitude he did (on basketball forum) it really hit hard. No more lurking for me here. Get 'em CSC and the rest of you. Its not worth my time and thin skin to as much as lurk here anymore.

It's a Rivalry and Ribbing Forum. Another One Bites the Dust was referring to a UK fan who admitted that she couldn't handle the heat. Now do you understand?

Cathy,

I used to get mad and let the UL fans get under my skin but not anymore. I don't hate UL and I don't wish them bad luck in the Big East.I know I said that once in a post here but I said it when I was angry and now I know there is nothing to be angry about. As a matter of fact I really hope they do well because Louisville is in Kentucky and so is the rest of the state. UK is obviously the state school and Bob Petrino nor Rick Pitino can change that and the truth is I am sure that if Rick had it to do over he would never have left UK to begin with but we can't go back in time. I know that your husband is a UL fan and in Jefferson Co. there is more of a problem between UK and UL fans. Out in the state there is not much of a rivalry because UK fans outnumber UL fans by about 20 to one. I know a few UL fans even here in Floyd Co. but NOT many. For most of us out in the state rivalry with UL is not a big deal because there are so few UL fans to argue with.

For what it is worth while Rick was at UK he did a wonderful job. I also know that if he could have come back to UK he would have. I know that I could not cheer for my ownAlma Mater Morehead even if they ever had a good team against UK. My dentist is a UL graduate at least of the UL Dental School. He is a very strong UK fan and he secretly was even while he was going to the UL Dental School. I don't have a thing against the University of Louisville and like UK it has provided a good necessary service for the state. The only thing I don't like about UL is their football team and their basektball team. It started for me back in the 1970's and 1980's when I could not stand Denny Crum. Truthfully my dislike of UL Athletics has little or nothing to do with Rick Pitino but with Denny Crum and the UL fans attitude toward UK fans.:D:P

Now that is a sensible attitude. See we can all get along. Ul fans think Uk fans are conceited, arrogant, and delusional. Uk fans think Ul fans are spiteful, obnoxious, and do not know their place. We can all be one big dysfunctional family!
