Juco CB Roy Hurst was scheduled to visit this weekend. Anyone know if he made it?

I don't know about any one recruit, but there were several in the East endzone watching The Cats warm up. There were some Big Bodies, and 1 Huge Body.

Those who visited this weekend:
D.J. Stafford
Randall Burden
Marquis Hundley
Chase Dumphord
Victor Anderson
Aaron Boyd (Shane's brother)
There are reports that up to 15 recruits were spotted so Hurst very well may have been there. Hundley is a CB.

D.J. Stafford, the biggest recruit we are after IMO, gave positive reviews. I liked that he mentioned the availability of playing time and getting the chance to play right away. He plans to take more visits elsewhere, but none are scheduled. His team had this weekend off and he chose to come up to KY. I hope that is a good sign for us.

If I am a defensive stud, I can see that playing time is available on a team that should have a potent offense next year. Guys in the past were sold thattheir coming here would makea difference. That has never been more true, especially on the defensive side of the ball. UK has many of the pieces in place for next season. There might have to be some changes, but impact players on defense could be the difference between a repeat of this year and a successful bowl season.

There were certainly more than those mentioned in the end zone prior to the game. Any official word on how many of them were official and if any were "unofficial." The reason I ask about that is that I know one of the guys that was down there and I can't find anything about him on any of the recruiting websites other then message boards. He is a running back (I think also a defensive back) for a very small A school and currently has his team in the top 10 (undefeated) and is running the bejesus out of the ball. In one game, he had over 300 yards and in another well over 250. I don't know how to tell the difference between D1 talent and D2 talent but he is a solid player.

how big is boyds brother?
Only 6 or 8 were officials from what I hear. Another was a Juco DB, Hurst from the same school as Hundley and both had a great time and were very impressed. As for Stafford I think his visit went very well and we are in good shape with him but he may not qualify. I hear Burden is close to a lock.

Do you have any size & weight numbers and positions on these kids? I'm sure I could look it up but two problems: I don't know where to look & I'm lazy.;)

Thanks from me, too, RV. Also, I shared what Jeff Drummond said about the visits on another thread, but this information is more detailed. I'm sorry to read that Stafford may not qualify, though. :(

P.S. Boyd will not be in the database because I have no indication that he holds a scholly offer from us. Only those who do are listed in there.

But that means I have to move my mouse and place my cursor up an entire frame! Oh, well...if I must. BTW, thanks.
