LEXINGTON, Ky. -- It's not that Alfonso Smith finds joy in the misery of others.

He feels their pain. But he also hears opportunity knocking.

The redshirt freshman tailback is down in the dumps this week that his University of Kentucky teammate, first-stringer Rafael Little, is out for a month with cartilage damage in his left knee.

I hate to see little out but....... I'm glad to see Smith with all that speed getting his chance.

Little has just not been his self all year. I hope he can come back healthy and have some great games.

For the future I love Mo Grinter. He could develop into a strong, bruising back, w/ moves and quickness, which is exactly what this team needs. They need a back that is gonna break tackles, drag tacklers, and fall forward for those extra 2 or 3 yards, especially in the SEC. We've got to get a running game going.
