I prefer a dry rub on my ribs, but am not anti-wet.
Anyone have a good mixture/recipe for a dry rub?

now this is a topic i like.
i am great at grilling, but i am below average with ribs. wet would be my preference, but a good dry rub would also be good. hopefully some people on here will share some recipes.

guys there is a place called Texas Outlaw Bar-BQ in E'town. They have won 3 of the last 4 nation bar-bq championships. I use to eat there everyday when I had my E'town store. They are right off 65, and trust me worth the drive. They did a feature on them on the foodnetwork a few weeks ago. He is the bar-bq miester..

I like KC Masterpiece's Dry Rub as well as any recipe I have ever tried. The trick to ribs is SLOOOOOOOWWWW cooking. I use my smoker at about 210 degrees until they fall off the bones. Some good old fashioned charcoal with mesquite chips to add the smoke and 12 ounces of beer placed in the drip tray for some extra flavor.

Dry rub.
If you know what your doing when you smoke `em, they won't turn out like jerky.
I've got a smoker with an offset firebox, so I've got plenty of room to place water pans under the meat. In addition, I have a "mop" baste that I mix and put in a spray bottle and spray the meat every hour or so. The last couple of hours everything is wrapped in foil so they stay nice and moist.
