I hate that. I wanted to see an SEC team in the NC hunt and now we likely won't. The SEC is just killing each other.

That was my feeling. I still say that there needs to be some sort of a playoff.

I was watching the game half-heartedly as I am listening to the UK game. Florida just couldn't compete in the second half of this one. Auburn was too much for them.

Me too Bob. The SEC has so many great teams. Not good, but great. This is bound to happen. I don't think it is fair to penalize a top conference team when it loses to another great conference team as far as bowl games go.

The SEC teams beat each other up week after week. It is fun to watch as a spectator but it does cut down on the chance to play for a title.

I give Auburn's coach credit. He recognized the defense was letting the team down the first half and ripped them at half time. He probably threw a Spurrier fit and they came out in the second half and took care of business.

That is coaching and something I long to see in Lexington. Will it ever happen in my lifetime??????

as a CAT fan in GATOR country I had grown fairly sick of the orange and blue faithful shoving their greatness down my throat for the last seven weeks. Leak this and Tebow that and pot smokers are allowed to play if you're the best tackler on the team. All last week they sat on their high horse of being ranked 2 in the ap, which nobody seemed to realize means squat, and called in the radio shows screaming how they just couldn't see the gators losing to auburn. We're just too much better on paper they said. Auburn has no weapons they said. (overused cliche warning:) well, that's why they play the game.
