Schuler's future in question

Linebacker Joe Schuler probably won't play when Kentucky next takes the field Oct. 28 at Mississippi State.

His future beyond that game is in question, too, coach Rich Brooks said yesterday.

Schuler suffered a concussion in last Saturday's 49-0 loss at Louisiana State, and given Schuler's history of concussions, Brooks said, there's likely to be some discussion about whether the junior should continue to play football.

Has UK's roster for Friday's game with Hargrave been determined?

FatCatDaddy, thanks for sharing. I was so afraid of that when I had heard during the LSU broadcast that Joe Schuler had suffered still another concussion. :(Schuler has suffered so many concussions during his football career, and there had been some concern about his returning to action after the previous concussion.

Bless Schuler's heart. Too, may he and his family make the right decision.
