(Non-smack) Congrats on the Gator Bowl bid, Card fans..

There are times when smack is in order, and there are times when that needs to be set aside and credit given where credit is due. Now is one of those times.

Okay, I know it's not completely official yet (at least not as I type this), but all signs are pointing to you guys getting a Gator Bowl bid, where you'll, in all likelihood, get another shot at Miami. I know it wasn't exactly what you all had hoped for at the beginning of the season, but hey, a bowl bid is a bowl bid...and at least you won't get stuck freezing to death in Memphis again (no pun intended.). I'm certain the Cards will be pumped and ready to take care of business. Enjoy it, because you certainly earned it.

Along with that, I hope that Brian Brohm will be able to take the field as the starter, but barring that, I hope he rebounds from his injury completely and he's ready to pick up where he left off next season.

As far as it could be better; we really did not have the players in place to go undefeated this season. Next season depends upon our O line and Brohm's knee. Like it or not, Ul's football program is getting better and better.

Off to the Gator Bowl; make sure you watch. Since you'll be watching in black and white, the University of Louisville has a Cardinal on the side of their helmet.

I love talking smack with the Cat fans here. They are the only ones brave enough to have a smack board, but even though it is a smack board you are still a guest on their board and when they ask for "no smack" you should grant them that courtesy.

I have the most respect for A. the mods and administrator's of this board for having the nads to create a smack board when every other lame *** board couldn't take the heat, and B. the posters that come over daily and defend it to no end. My hats off to you guys. You are the truest of blue!
