Bless Fatu's heart.I surely feel for him. :(

Too, the team had gone through camp and the early part of the season mostly avoiding the injury bug.The past few weeksthings have not gone as well. :(Here's hoping the defensive line is healing extra fast, along with Rafael Little, although the offensive line has certainly taken another blow (besides the linebacking corps with Joe Schuler).

I'm disappointed for Fatu as well. I remember speaking to him at the '05 Fan Day amd asking him if he'd prefer playing tackle or guard. His response was along the lines of; "wherever the team needs me". He seemed like a really nice guy. Good luck to him in the future.

It's got to be especially tough on SRs who not only have to work to recover but have no future playing time as incentive to do it. Best to him.

Feel bad for the guy but that said.... I'm sorry. There has to be something in the training/conditioning of these players to have all these injuries. It just can't all be bad luck

All these injuries on the lne are going to buy Mitch Barnhart another batch of excuses to keep Brooks even if they are below .500

It happens to every single team out there, most just plug in the next guy. If somebody doesn't step up we don't have one.

Do you have any numbers to support your claim? Texas lost a defensive tackle this week for the season, their 6th defensive starter to miss games this year due to injury. Mack Brown must be doing something wrong. He should be firedI wonder what conspiracy Bobby Petrino must be involved in for him to cause both Heisman trophy candidates to be injured within two weeks of each other. He must be in bed with the bookies. The point is that a player can be in the best shape possible and as strong as a mule and whether or not you injure a knee will not be effected one bit. Nor will suffering a concussion be helped by more time in the weight room. Now, if players are passing out in the 4th quarter due to exhaustion or if they are missing time due to muscle fatigue, then you may have a case. But to suggest that knee injuriesmust be Brooks' fault is ludicrous. Last year we had a freakish number of injuries, but this year we are probably about average. The difference between our injuries and a school like Texas is that we don't have the kind of backups to simply plug in there without much dropoff, so our's area lotmore noticeable. This staff has enough stuff to deal with in the criticism department (and much of it justified) without putting something on them over which they have no control. If you want them fired, that's your right, but please base it on something real, not imagined.
