Due to UL's schedule prior to the UK vs UL game, UL should be ranked top five when we face them. It will be nice knocking you guys out of the top ten. I just hope they don't get beat by some cupcake along the way (or do I). I really hope Padgett is back and Palacious is healthy so you guys do not have any excuses.

The defending National Champs huh. Who's returning for Carolina this year? Since there is absolutely no basketball knowledge in any of your posts, I'm sure you have no clue. Pathetic.

You have to love how UL holds onto that one final four in 19 years. Also add to that their first time out of the first round of the tournament since Pitino has been there.

I was talking to some friend the other night, and some are UL fans. The question was asked that if Pitino did not get to the Final Four or win it in the next 4-5 years, would they run him out. Some said yes. I stated no because UL will hang onto this final four for all of its worth. A friend of mine, UL fan, agreed and stated he was upset that UL fans weren't dissapointed they did not make a better showing. He said we had one good season and now we think we are the greatest team in the world.

But remember how mad UL fans were when they lost to Xavier and Butler the two years previous. they complained that Pitino was outcoached and was a waste of money. If you do not believe me, ask anyone on you UL boards. I remember reading those posts and laughing.

You're a perfect illustration ofa UK fan- a.k.a the leftover Thanksgiving meal I just flushed.

Nothing in 20 years huh. I guess final fours do not matter, but championships in the horse and buggyera are important.

Who taught you the english language? Return tothe moonshine and the beef jerky;it isapparent youlack basketball knowledge.

Wait, you may not understand my last statement. Let me rephrase the statement, so you can understand.

HA HA HA HA HA. Ignorance alert, ignorance alert. OK let's be factual here. None of us has won a championship since 1998. But one thing is for sure, no one in college basketball has amassed the wins UK has in the last four years. No one. Enjoy you're final four from last year this season because you deserve to. You got there and we didn't. But after this season, I don't want to hear anything about it again. We bring up our championships because it is a pride thing. But you can sure bet we are the unhappiest people in the world when we don't get there every March/April.

It is hillarious that a UK moderator is here speaking about UL holding on to a final four, that by the way, happened last year.

These blowhards run around with 7 national championships written on their wife beaters. Now, who is holding on for dear life.

If Pitino makes it to another final four... Blah, Blah, Blah. Listen, run back to your complacent environment, and embrace Tubby for being a good guy. I know, I know, you suck at football.

You made absolutely no sense in your previous post. Moderators shouldn't have opinions huh?

It's interesting that you slid in a football comment from absolutely nowhere.

Ignorance is bliss I guess

dannymitchell33

Actually, you can have an opinion. Just make sure that it makes sense. Now, that may take some time.

The I know, I know, UK football sucks; is in relation to what your fans reply every year to a UL fan.

Let me understand your point. Your tired of hearing about last year's final four, because that season is over. UMM, I'm not sure what year it is in your world Michael J. Fox, but those championships did not happen yesterday.

What do you say to the people on here who continously boast about titles from the B.C. timeframe?

crazycatfan
11-28-2005, 11:42 AM
Did you read what I said above or do you need pictures? I said you have every right to boast about it this season.

As far as championships, they are pride, they are what you have accomplished. It's been 7 years too long. But to pretend like they are in the dark ages is stupid.

March 1, 1921 -- Kentucky State upsets Tulane, Mercer, Mississippi A & M and Georgia to win the first Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association basketball championship. Hundreds of Wildcats fans await "play-by-play" via telegraph, and greet the team's train with a celebration and parade in downtown Lexington.

Do you remember that game? If you have pride for your 48, 49, and 51 championship, why not this accomplishment?

Via telegraph. Nice.

Reaching a little to talk smack aren't you? That was the worst form I have seen on this board in a while. You should be proud of yourself coming to a UK board to talk smack like that.

Catfan,

The saddest thing about that post is that someone on your board actually feels proud about that game. That was intended to prove my point about how absurd your fans are when dealing with past accomplishments.

When UL goes to a final four, then they have one year to boast. When UK wins a championship in 1949, it's a "Pride Thing".

What a shallow little individual you must be. Let me help you out with a quote by Stuart Smalley-

"You're good enough, you're smart enough, and doggonit, people like you."

Congrats on being pitiful and lame.

You are comparing apples and oranges first of all. Final Fours are NOT national championships as much as Card fans would like to make them. Pitiful and lame is your middle name danny so you shouldn't even be saying that sort of thing. I saw three of your posts on this thread that said something derogatory Arianist UK fans hygiene, or other stereotypes and that is the only way that you can try to prove your point. Because you don't have a point that is valid you have to stoop to things like that.

Back to the point of this thread....

Would we be catapulted into the top three if Louisville is in the top five and we beat them?

catfan02
11-30-2005, 08:54 AM
Louisville won't be top 5 because they aren't playing anyone. A win over Indiana will be much bigger. IU will be tested and they are gaining confidence. With Morris back , I like our chances. Without him , I'd say we lose. Win over UL at Rupp should come easier.

tauzreborn

Texas andDuke play each other on the 10th so one of them will drop. Indiana might beat Duke??? Villinova and Gonzaga could lose as well, but I do not know if anyone is on there schedule. UL does not play anyone until our game which is on the 17th so I think it is very possible they will be top five. But with there weak schedule voters might move other teams above them.
