•Five early-bird UK basketball opinions based on last Saturday's scrimmage, on which you should never base opinions:
1. The best characteristic of this freshman class is that it rarely tries to do something it is not capable of doing.
2. If Joe Crawford wants to be a star, now is his time to be a star.
3. Jared Carter can still turn into a significant player, but patience is compulsory.
4. Randolph Morris' rebound total of four was not encouraging.
5. The team that eats together wins together? Saturday night, Morris, Carter, Sheray Thomas and Lukasz Obrzut were spotted together at Outback Steakhouse in Hamburg
