Lordy behold look what I found in the "Other Receiving Votes" category in the last week's ESPN/USA TOP 25 Coaches Pollfor Women's Basketball. It's Kentucky actually receiving votes!

Keep it up girls! Actually area colleges are doing great in the "Other Receiving Votes" categories also. You have Louisville there as well as Western Kentucky. The new one should be coming out in the next few days I think. But congratulations ladies!

We're definitely moving up! What's really encouraging is that there are only 4 SEC teams ahead of us at this (very, very early) point in the season.

Yeah it great to see all three schools getting some love in the voting area. I bought season tickets for the first time for UofL's women's team and I really didn't know what to expect but I have to say those girl can play some ball. I wish we could have beat WKU on tuesday and make it into the AP Top 25 next week but I guess will have to wait a little while longer. I will be at Rupp for the UofL/UK game and to be honest it would be cool if both were in the Top 25 when the game is played. If that happen I would assume it would be the first time UofL and UK women team played each other while both are ranked teams.

I did find it kind of odd that in the Coaches Poll UK was 30th but got no votes in the AP Poll at all :?

I plan on being there too since I have LadyKat season tickets. Hope a lot of people show up to support these young women.

That's probably better than the other way around. I would much rather the team be thought of highly by coaches than sportwriters. :)

We are driving up to Rupp on Dec.28th for the UL game too.............I hope the Lady Cats beat them.....
