Rivals 2007 recruiting team ranking as of 11/0206. UK is at 51, last in the SEC, even behind Vandy. Four out the top five are SEC, seven in the top 15.
While I wasn't expecting a very ranking for the 2007 class, last in the SEC is a bit disappointing. Hope things turn up.

Little change in the 11/9/06 ranking. We have dropped a notch to 52nd, still last in the SEC. Five or the top six and seven of the top fifteen are SEC schools.
UL is 49th.

Iwould not pay any attention at all to our ranking this year. As I understand it, the rankings are based, at least in part, on quantity. We simply do not have enough schollies this year to make much of a ripple. But, we'll be OK when it's all said and done.

While it's true that these ranking are based, in part, on quantity, we would be 11th in the SEC if the ranking were done solely on quality.
That would move us ahead of Vandy but still behind UL and 10 other SEC schools.

Hopefully, these recruits will fulfilla need that we have. I'm not concerned with where they rank this season because the majority of them won't be playing for a while. They will redshirt hopefully and be improved by the time they take the field. I'm not exactly content with a 50+ ranking, but what is our current TEAM ranked? If we want top 25 recruiting classes, it would help to get in the top 25.
