If we are so fortunate, what position would he play at UK?

This may be a dumb question, but is Micah a Kentucky kid? I didn't know if he has grown up here his whole life or if he grew up somewhere else and ended up at Ft. Campbell when a parent got transferred there.

"The son of a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army who played wide receiver at Bishop College in Marshall, Texas, Johnson has an older brother who is a guard at Kentucky.

Fort Campbell, the Army base where Micah lives and attends high school, is just his latest home – he's lived in Hawaii, California, Virginia and Texas."

The above was from a Rivals recruiting article, I think he was born in VA but I'm not sure. His dad is either soon to be or has been deployed for a stint in Iraq.

If we show improvement and win four games this season AND I were a betting woman, I would bet on the side of Micah's coming to UK. :)Actually, if we show a lot of improvement and only win three games, I think his coming to UK could still be a distinct possibility. To be honest, I'm just hoping and praying that key injuries don't affect our number of wins and recruiting. Our lack of depth is still scary.

Down in this end of the state, I've heard a little about how Johnson is such a great talent. Is UK really the frontrunner when it comes to landing him?

I think Micah has stated that he likes Kentucky (as a home) and we are definately on the inside track having his brother on board at UK and potentially another brother considering coming to UK.

Micah Johnson attended UK's Fan Day and seemed to thoroughly enjoy himself. He spent a lot of time with his brother and a lot of the players, most people that watched him say that he was real comfortable around the team.I saw his mom interacting with Coach Heggins and they looked like old friends.

Lets keep our fingers crossed, and knock on wood and ..............

This recruiting class looks very strong out of the blocks. If Micah was to commit early, he could influence some of the top recruits on UK's list to come to UK. A five star recruit like Micah could have a lot of influence, especially in state.

I just finished reading an article from catspause.com and it was a very, very positive interview with Micah who plans to see every home game and some away games this year for KY. He mentioned that the UK Fan Day scored some points with him and put UK at the top of the list. He's ours to lose!!

With their dad overseas for a tour of duty I imagine it will be great for Christian, Nathaniel and Micah's mom to be able to take the trip up to Lexington on game day to see her boys on game days.

For you Western Kentuckians here is Fort Campbells schedule. Man I wish they were playing somewhere close to my home town. Maybe the state championship series.

If youall go, show some love to our two other Ft. Campbell recruits, Leonard Gordon (http://kentucky.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=1&pr_key=34505) and Orlando Misaalefua (http://kentucky.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=1&pr_key=36557).

And be sure to wear your UK Blue!

If you really believe what you say you are going to get the surprise of your life. BTW, do you just not have an optimistic view about life in general or just our football Cats? Remember, it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.
