When GA had the big return at the end, who else thought...."Oh God, not again."

I freely admit that I was thinking it.

I freely admit that I was thinking it.

I found myself not getting too excitedor too low until I saw 0:00 on the clock.

Guilty on both the above quotes, BUT.... I never lost faith. Until the last interception, with GA needing a TD, the fat lady was going to have to sing before I gave up.

I'll fess up as well. But can you blame us? Seriously...

Even after the interception, I was sayin' , "Just don't fumble the snap, just don't fumble the snap..."

I'm afraid most of us were thinking that way, but hoping big-time it would be different this time.

I celebrated with 0:52 left when I made sure they only had one TO left.

How could you not think that way if you're a Kentucky fan? We've been bitten over and over when we seemly had a game won, only to have some miracle happen for the other team. The script usually follows that the team takes it in and scores with a few seconds left, or we intercept the ball only to have the other team strip it from him and throw a winning hailmary at the end. We've all seen it over and over. I think that's why there is so much emotion with this game. I saw someone on another board asking why tear down the goal post, Georgia's not ranked as high as normal. This person is not a Kentucky football fan. He hasn't lived through close call after close call, only to have a major win ripped from our paws. A true Kentucky fan knows exactly why the goalpost came down, and if they could be they were on the field when it happened. But I know the people who weren't close enough to get on the field were going crazy in the stands, or screaming at home or in the car. They were celebrating this victory wildly everywhere a cat football fan exists!

I admit I sweated it out until the last snap was taken, but tear down the goalpost after beating Georgia? YOU BET!
