U of L could slide into the National Championship. If they win out and no one leap frogs them, because Ohio St and Michigan have to play each other and one will have to lose.

If UF wins out, it will have an opportunity, IMO, to leap back over UL.

12-0 & beating three ranked teams isn't sliding. It's delivering.

The national media is saying this about UL because UL has never been this high before with the chance to play for the national championship.

UL has the most potent offennse in the nation. I really didn't think they would beat WV, because I didn't think Brohm had shaken off the rust from the injury. BRohm went out and had the game of his life, UL protected the ball and WV didn't. If their offense is in high gear, they can put pressure on any team to make mistakes because they will try keep up with their scoring.
I don't see Brohm staying, after this season. He is the reason their offense is high octane and should be the 1st QB picked in the draft. If UL is going to win a national title, this is the season.

The only way UL will get respect from national media, is if theystart laying to wood to their remaining opponents.

Kentucky is the second best win for UL (next to WVA)according to Sagarin. We are glad to help Lil bro out with their S.O.S.;)

I'm wishing the same thing but it's just that.
Wishing.
Face it, Louisville is going to play for a NC.
They had to beat an overrated WVU and they have to play another paper tiger who's had no experience in winning or big games.
You have Pitt (who got crushed by Mich St and South Fla) and So Fla.
They screw this up, it's one of the legendary chokes in CFB.
If they are really the program I constantly have to hear there are they should have no problems.

Read this guys take. It sort of parallels mine.
From the article:
"The Louisville season is indeed a wonderful story. So is the other fairy tale come true in Rutgers University.
It's revenge of the nerds. Some of the little fellas that used to get their lunch money stolen by the powerhouses now have some clout and are puffing their chests.
Yet allowing Louisville or Rutgers to participate in a national championship game would be tantamount to affirmative action for the pee-wee conferences.
Louisville is an inspiring tale, and the Cardinals deserve numerous accolades for their season thus far, but not all undefeated seasons are created equal."
