Lindley registered seven total tackles, one interception and a pass deflection in Kentucky's 24-20 win against Georgia.
With the Bullodgs driving for the potential winning score, Lindley made the game-cliching interception with 45 seconds left in the game.
His pass deflection led to another UK interception which was snagged by teammate Roger Williams in the end zone, saving a touchdown.

I thought he might get consideration for SEC Defensive Player of the Week without the freshman distinction. I think he also had a tackle for loss. Quite an impressive day for the redshirt freshman, yet when interviewed after the game he didn't act too impressed with himself; sort of had a just-taking-care-of-business reaction to it all. I really like the kid and believe he's developing into a legit SEC cover corner like we haven't seen since....:shrug:Great job, Trevard! I hope this is the first of many awards!

Congratulations, Trevard Lindley! GREAT job! :)Too, it was so neat that Trevard made the game-saving play against his home state team! :)
