If Uk beats Vandy AND IF Arkansas beats UT,

We are in second place in the SEC East!!

If we beat Vandy this week and SC loses to Florida we will finish no worse than third in the East. It really doesn't matter what ewe tee does this weekend because we have to beat them the last game to finish in second place.

Too, I know the "ole if'n game" works both ways. Regardless, we haveALREADYwonthese games we could have just as easily lost,particularly the Georgia game. Like you, I keep playing that USC game and realizing what GREAT shape we could be in today if we hadonly pulled off the upset against USC.

Also, besides all the opportunties we had missed earlier in the game, it is a FACT that we had a much greater chance of tying South Carolina in regulation than LSU had when it successfully completed the Hail Mary reception against us form the other end of the field,with essentially nothing but LSU's luck resulting in a win. :(That loss to South Carolina (in a game in which our defense only gave up 383 yards to USC)still MAKES ME SICK, because with a win there we would indeed be in SECOND PLACE in the SEC right now.

As you say, though, we can't look back. We must look forward to Saturday and hope we can beat Vandy and at least gain respect in the SEC, besides becoming bowl-eligible. :)GO CATS! BEAT VANDY!
