View Full Version : FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS friends
I have seen lots of posts here wondering what bowl we will play in, or what place we will finish in the SEC east.
Sheesh, some are even talking New year Day bowls.
Friends, ALL that matters is VANDERBILT.
This is a dangerous team and if we are not ready to play at the same level we did last week...... we will be very dissappointed come Saturday afternoon.
We must have this game if we are going to move to the next level.
Winning a winnable game after a signature win is the next big step this team has to take.
Let's focus on VANDY, win that game, and everything else will take care of itself.

Agreed. Taking care of business is all that matters for the Cats right now.

Icould care less if the fans are focused on the Bowl games. It's nice to be able to do this.
I only care if the TEAM is focused on Vandy....and they will be.

I fully understand the need to stay focused, take one game at a time, don't look past Vandy, don't put the cart before the horse, and every other analogy that comes to mind. It certainly is valid to keep that in mind and I don't have a problem with it.
However, that being said, at the same time it's been a LONG time since UK football has been in the position where a bowl berth was even POSSIBLE, let alone probable, and I alsodon't see the problem in enjoying the anticipation of where the team might end up in the post season bowl picture. Heck, this is a great feeling. Let's live with it a while! :D
Besides, I have all the confidence in the world that the 'Cats are going to take care of business and that they WILL INDEED stay focused and looking forward to a bowl berth after all these years ISN'T going to jinx them. ;)

I plan on taking his advice. I'm going to spend the rest of the week trying to get my 40 time under 8 seconds (or see if I can actually run a 40 without stopping), just in case;)
