So O.J. Mayois playing his senior year at Huntington with Patrick Patterson. Does anyone else see the possibilities of this? If we can get PP to commit then our chances of getting OJ will skyrocket. And if you say we shouldnt go for OJ because he is one and done then oh well because that one year will be a great year.

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that this thread about Mayo was started by someone with "Team Chemistry" in their screen name?

Welcome to the board... as much as I wish that were true, I just don't think it's going to happen... There's no telling how well OJ and Patterson get along as it is, let alone going to college together.... although it would be great

We wont get him but Tubby actually did make an effort when he learned he would be going to Huntington so you cant say that.

i guessed taking a player that was told "No" by Oak Hill and dismissed from his team and high school for off court problems, wouldn't be at the top of tubby's list. like i said... in my opinion.

Just my opinion, but no way OJ and his entourage end up at UK, very high maintenance risk by Tubby. My guess is that OJ goes to Kan State where Huggins lets him do his thing so he can head on to the NBA afte 1 season.
