Division I schools in Kentucky all graduated athletes above the NCAA average, according to figures released Thursday by the NCAA.
Nationwide, 63 percent of student-athletes who started school in 1999 graduated in six years. College students overall graduated at a 61-percent rate.
In Kentucky, Murray State had the highest athlete graduation rate at 79 percent, which was 139th among the 318 Division I-A schools.
