IU-Butler playing in Indy in the Canseco Fieldhouse and if you look at the stands you'll notice that the place is empty in the upper end zones and around the top. I am surprised that the crowd is so sparse right in both teams back yards.
I though basketball was king in Hoosier land...they obviously have not yet warmed to the new staff.

I'm watching the game myself and was getting ready to post the same thing. I sure hope their recruiting classes don't bail them out.

Its really weird don't you think? If we were playing Butler up there the place would be full of blue. Have the Hosier fans totally abandoned the program?
edit: I'm sure you just heard them mention it on ESPN, that there are a few thousand empty seats....

Since i've gotten a chance to watch IU the past couple of games, its become apparent that they are nottoo terribly deep. Earl Calloway is a solid PG as well. I think we will have a tough time with them.

Wow, IU goes down. Great 3 off the board at the end by Graves for Butler.

I thought I saw, when the camera cuaght him in the last :30, Kelvin Sampson's fingers trembling.
Sampson's going to find out that the IU job is a much different animal than that cozy gig
at his old football school.

Looks like Sampson is doing just what we thought he would do...sign good recruits and lose easy basketball games.

I watched the game and thought that Butler was a middle of the road team playing pretty well early in the year. Beating IN was a stretch for them. IN really wasn't looking very good in this game, and their movement down court looked, PONDEROUS.
However looked to me like IN easily puts a cap on Butler if they just hit a few more off of rebounds or shoot a little better from the floor. IN, looking like they did last night, will get their butts kicked in the Big Ten and will get to play in the postseason NIT.

After"sign good recruits" you forgot to add "using questionable methods".;)

KS walked off the court without shaking hands. They showed him darting to the tunnel as the horn sounded.
