Good choice because he is only a few miles from Hollywood. He can make a movie and learn how to surf.

good !!! we don't need another Carruth !! Hope the weather is good for him. He can enjoy watching a real team from his home state win it all in a couple of years !!

According to the article in our local paper, he stated that Tim Floyd being an NBA head coach for awhile was the deciding factor as he wants to be an NBA player and felt that Floyd had the connections and experience he was looking for in a coach.

www.wsaz.com (http://www.wsaz.com) also says that he faxed his letter of intent after learning he received a 29 on his ACT. I went to the news conference and one of my friends used to coach him when he was at Rose Hill. Despite what some of you guys say, he is a classy kid. When asked why he decided to go ahead and sign he said something like this, "I knew I was going to USC and I knew if I didn't sign then after every game I would get the same question. I thought it would be selfish of me to distract the team during the rest of the season." I walked by Patterson when I was there and man, he is a big dude. We sure could use him.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but, judging by the way that Stevenson is playing, we don't need him near as bad as we thought we did. When Perrys offense comes up to speed he is going to be truly formidable!

 Could be that THAT is why Patterson wouldn't commit. Could be he didn't want any competition. Could be he figures that after this season there won't be any at Florida.

Could be!
