WOW is right! I remember seeing the halftime score being 36 to 21 on the ticker while watching the UK/GSU game. I was just as shocked and then the next thing I saw about a hour later was that the Lady Cats won 71 to 40. WOW!!!!! Great job ladies! Keep it up!

I'm totally confused here. I know I saw on the ticker that ESPNU had that UK was down 36 to 21 at halftime. But according to this article http://www.ukathletics.com/index.php?s=&url_channel_id=46&url_article_id=1680 7&url_subchannel_id=&change_well_id=2 The Lady Cats were never down in the game at half. I'm lost!

Wow, could you imagine a 50-4 second half run! That would be pretty cool!

Do they play UT at home this year? I would love to go. Also UL is it at home? Sounds like the UK chicas will be something this year. Mickie really has built that team up from scratch and they may be a powerhouse in a couple of year! I hope we make the tourney.

We've got five solid starters and DeMoss is quick to put in Roddy, Pfeiffer, Alcius, Perry. She plays the freshmen a little more sparingly, but Jenne Jackson and LaQwesha Gambel seem to be coming along nicely.

Both games are in Lexington and are at Rupp. Louisville is December 28 so I worry about attendance for that game. Tennesse (which you should go if nothing else but to get a sight of Candace Parker) is January 26.

I've made it to all but one home game so far this year, in addition to most of the home games for the last three years (we've got season tix and live w/n 2 mi of Memorial). I think the really is 10 deep, maybe even 11. I know it sounds kinda incredible to say that, but DeMoss and here staff have really brought in some great athletes. Best among them might be Gambel (the 11th)--- great quickness and hops. Watch out when she gets a littlemore polished! In fact, I don't get nervous seeing any of those top 11 on their way to the scorer's table. Of course, that's not to say that they don't each have some maddening tendancies--- like Humphrey's insistance on putting the ball on the floor anytime she gets an offensive rebound or entry pass, or Elliot's "Shaq-like" freethrow shooting, etc.In short, the team's strength this year should be it's depth and balance.
