Hey I understand everyone's concerns about the state of the program and respect everyone's right to voice their concerns. My thought is that many have lost hope for a better future and have either given up or on the verge of giving up. That is their right as Americans. So be it. None of my business. Hope for a better today and tomorrow is all that some of us have and when/if we lose hope then what do we have? I will chose to look at the glass as being half full and on the positive side. For me the positive side of everyone jumping ship is that me and Tim should be able to get some GREAT season ticket seats and others should be able to upgrade to better seats if they so desire. JMHO.

Next year?

Next year you might stop by the old RV like you said you would before the season started. I know a good blacksmith if your horse thru a shoe.

Al my fighter pilot friend, I was asking about you at the tailgate Saturday. Some speculated you were flying top secret missions again in the Gulf. I said the only Gulf mission you may be flying is having one too many margarita's in old Mexico.:lol:I shoulda, woulda, coulda, but alas didn't make it by THE Wildcat Corner.:(For that I may turn in my Marshall badge, kiss Miss Kitty on the forehead, and ride off in the sunset..or..maybe not and just guarantee..in writing no less..multiple visits to the preppy, upper eschelon of society RV lot next season.:thumbup

Actually I haven't posted much lately. I have never posted much during the season as a matter of fact. I get too emotional during the season. My heart over rules my head about the Blue even more than usual. Best to let you cool sorts with a badge do the posting during the actual campaign. It has been glorious fun this year just laying back and watching all the old detractors choke in their own spew.

Nice post, Gunsmoke. Too, it was GREAT finally to meet you at the tailgate (although I wish that I had also gotten to meet F4F--hint, hint! :D).

By the way, besides loving your writing style, I LOVE the positive attitude. It's surely a lot more fun to look at that glass as half-full, isn't it! Too, for our players' sake, I am determined to continue to do just that! :)

Hey, everybody,UK isGOING BOWLING!!! :DGO CATS!

Poodoo,

We have our own tail-gate deal and have had one for at least 25 years. We invite a lot of people so we don't stray from our old RV. That would be rude but it also keeps us from other tail-gates. Next year I tell you where we are located or you can hook up with the Union County Curtis'. Looking forward to meeting you as well.
