LEXINGTON - University of Kentucky kicker Lones Seiber grew up thinking one day he would play football at the University of Tennessee.
That was until the Volunteers offered Seiber a scholarship with a redshirt year, instead of a chance to play immediately after concluding his senior season at Central High School in Knoxville last year. The Wildcats called with other plans and Seiber gladly accepted.
"Tennessee was my dream school, but it didn't work out that way," he said. "Now I bleed blue."
Seiber, whose family resides in Knoxville, is looking forward to visiting Neyland Stadium in a different capacity.
