Spartanburg (SC) Broome high school standout Antonio Thomas, who was trying to commit to Kentucky today, left a message with the defensive coaches at Kentucky and was awaiting their return phone call back confirming Kentucky’s intentions to accept Thomas’ commitment (http://kentucky.scout.com/2/592993.html).
“I just wanted to call you and let you know that I’m a Kentucky Wildcat,” Thomas said. “Coach Phillips called me back and said he’s excited to get me here. He said they had meetings and stuff all day and was gonna wait to get back to me until tonight,” Thomas said. “But I’m a happy kid, now that I’m a Wildcat, baby.”
