LEXINGTON — University of Kentucky football coach Rich Brooks believes his players are owed some props.
The Wildcats (7-4, 4-3 Southeastern Conference) ride a four-game winning streak into Saturday's matchup at Tennessee, and they're already bowl-eligible for the first time since 1999. But at his weekly news conference yesterday, Brooks said he didn't think his team got enough credit.
"We have some of the most exciting players in Kentucky football history playing on this team that are not getting, I don't think, their due," he said. "Andre' Woodson, Keenan Burton, Rafael Little -- those guys are lighting it up. … Do we do it pretty all the time? No, but the good news is we're doing it."
